What a glorious day for this year's Cornish marathon.

With over 300 runners taking part in this undulating course from Pensilva to Golitha Falls, then on to Jamaica Inn and then back along the banks of the River Fowye. Rejoining the 'out route' at Golitha before returning home.

Team Raynet were able to advise of a fallen tree along the route, locate runners who were thought to have gone astray and summon medical assistance for those in need.

Rob Pick, the Race Director sent this on behalf of the East Cornwall Harriers.

Once again, a huge thank you to you, Ian and your team.
I will repeat that as always I have had nothing but compliments from all involved - in no small way down to the help from your team.
The constant updates on progress are invaluable, and the patience and assistance from the 'sweep' vehicles is vital and very much appreciated.

Please once again pass on my thanks from everyone at ECH to all your members.

All the best

Rob
